The Record Guides mode is a feature that allows you to quickly create guides, SOPs, checklists, and other similar materials. These documents can be shared with your colleagues and include instructions on performing specific tasks, such as creating an account on Steam or onboarding in Salesforce. Each guide comprises screenshots and a description of the necessary actions to complete the task. Additionally, you can include a video of the process if needed.
What’s great about this feature is that you don’t have to take screenshots or write out the instructions yourself. Nimbus Capture will automatically create the necessary screenshots and generate a description of the actions you take as you complete the task. All you need to do is go through the process, and the app will take care of the rest.
How Does It Work? #
1) Open the desired page.
2) In Nimbus Capture, click the Record Step-By-Step Guide button:
3) Click on Start Recording:
4) Perform the actions you want to create a tutorial about. For example, if you need instructions on creating an account, follow the steps on the site that will lead to creating an account.
5) Next, click the Stop Recording button, and that’s it… you get a finished tutorial!
